Connecting the unconnected with God's message of
love, hope, and new beginnings
through the amazing grace of Jesus Christ.

We are Verde Valley Christian Church a non denominational church meeting the needs of people in the Verde Valley of Arizona (Cottonwood, Sedona, Clarkdale, Camp Verde, Jerome, Cornville, Rim Rock) and beyond .  We seek to connect the unconnected with God's message of love, hope, and new beginnings through the amazing grace of Jesus Christ.

VVCC began in 1967, and was incorporated in 1971.  The Verde Valley Christian Church VISION IS:

  • To be a church where hurting, broken, confused people find love, acceptance, forgiveness, help, hope, guidance, and encouragement.

  • To be a church where people are equipped to share the Good News of Jesus Christ with the thousands of lost people in the Verde Valley.

  • To be a church that develops people to spiritual maturity through one to one Bible Studies, small groups, seminars, retreats, and a Bible School for our members.

  • To be a church that equips every believer for a significant ministry by helping them discover the gifts and talents God gave them.

  • To be a church that empowers every member for a personal ministry, a life mission in the world.

  • To be a church that takes the Great Commission (Matthew 28:18-20 and Acts 1:8) seriously, starting in our own "Jerusalem" and moving outward into the "uttermost parts of the world".

VVCC Equips and Mobilizes Its Members for Ministry, WE:

  • Let the Spirit Move IN

  • Let the Pastor Move OVER (cf., Ephesians 4:11-12)

  • Let the People Move UP (for example, the people can be trained to "pastor" small groups).

  • Let the Church Move OUT

We aim to reach the lost people of all generations in the Verde Valley (Northern Arizona), with an ever increasing influence to the uttermost parts of the world. We aim to adapt our methods without compromising our message to be more effective at reaching the growing unchurched population. Jesus answered the critics of his day by saying "It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners" (Mark 2:17)

Our Purpose is to Make Disciples who are like Christ—having a heart for God, a heart for one another, and a heart for the World. Our purpose is to be a church that reproduces fully devoted disciples of Jesus Christ.
