Ecclesiastes 4:12 Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken. | |
| CONNECTING with God is not about “Religion” but about “Relationship”
At Verde Valley Christian Church we have a life development strategy that we call the CORD process to help you maintain a strong relationship with God through 5 Biblical relationship strands. CORD is an acrostic, actually 2 acrostics: 1. Concentrate On Relationships Daily 2. CONNECT Life, ORDER Life, READY Life, and DO Life |

| Our life development process (CORD) helps everyone establish relationships with a Confidant, Care Group, Congregation, and Closet, then a Contributing relationship. Jesus gave us the mandate to go and make disciples. This is an intentional process where “The Way” is first taught then caught. It is taught in group sessions, but it is caught in relationships. One relationship is between a disciple and a Confidant. We call the small group relationship Care Group and the large group relationship, Congregation. The personal relationship with God in the “Closet” (see Matt. 6:6 KJV) privately where you learn how to restore Order to your life. The last relationship is when the direction of the lean is reversed and the disciple becomes the confidant who is now in a Contributing relationship, helping another disciple. | ||
