No more Sunday School! No more Children’s Church! Did that catch your attention? Good! Because we have officially “quit” having Sunday School or Children’s Church at VVCC during our Sunday morning services and have moved into our new surroundings—Z’s Treehouse. If that idea sounds strange and different to you, it’s really okay, because we’ve simply changed the venue of our children’s ministries to a more adventurous locale—up in a Treehouse! We’re still studying God’s Word and seeking the treasure that can be found there—we’re just doing it in a Treehouse named after the guy in the Bible that climbed a tree to see Jesus for himself—Zacchaeus—who probably got his start climbing trees as a child—and maybe even had a Treehouse of his own! . . . during the sermon in both services!

In order to help out in Z’s Treehouse, the following passage of Scripture will need to be memorized and said to one of our leaders. They’re really looking orward to hearing everyone say these verses!!!

¹²Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. ¹³Bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances you may have against one another. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. ¹⁴And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity. ¹⁵Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful. ¹⁶Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom, and as you sing psalms, hymns and spiritual songs with gratitude in your hearts to God. ¹⁷And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him. Colossians 3:12-17
